escalading conflict
11.26.2008
Yessirrr. I am referring to the conflict that matters most. The conflict that so deeply affects us, as a closely tied neighbour of the US. Excuse me for sounding completely nerdy, getting into politics, and economics. But, it is something that concerns me, as it does everybody.
Crazy how the untouched matter of abusing credit has grown from being such a minor concern to an outrageous alert....and we can all thank BUSH =). Good ol' Bush. Personally, I think this all leads back to how people define what they stand for. In terms of what the Republican party believed, war was the answer to everything. Retalliation was the definate and appropriate reaction. Being a strong believer in the right thing, I've always believed that once that right choice is chosen, everything else will fall into place. That leads back to the reason why I voted Conservative, despite any powerful rebuttle Jack Layton threw. Harper had a strong stance in his belief for his morals and values, because he understands that it in the end, once you have that solid foundation, everything else will fall into place. Bush on the other hand, decided to retalliate. Idiot. There goes the potential investment in medical care, homelessness, etc. Selfish bastard. All he cared about was his pride, as an American. So what's left? The left shoe on the corner, and a glass of apple juice. Yeah...we're all pretty much screwed.
We're all heading for a global train wreck. Say goodbye to some of your local Linens & Things, Pac Sun, Circuit City, DisneyStore, Gap chains. Although it'll become effective beginning January, they've already started shutting down. Be prepared to say goodbye to your job, to your next exciting vacation, to that nice pair of kicks you've always wanted, and say hello to recession! Great Depression pt.II everyone.
P.S.
Don't forget to send your Thank-You cards to Bush =)!!
Cheers
