As the new chapter unfolds , a part of us still wants to retain the old. Stay attached. Grasp tightly to the thread that connects us to our comfort. Where everything has settled. Where everything makes sense. Where the puzzle pieces have softly landed. We want to stay. But the thing is...the puzzle's almost finished. As much as our hearts want to take hold of that last piece and winde it down in slow motion, we can't. Time has a mind of its own. God has His own plans. But, this is not a discouraging thought. Memories have a beautiful power to bring us back to that one special moment in our lives. Once it's all over, all we can do is enjoy it, whip out our courage, and embrace ourselves as we face a new world.
