...that strips my conscious bare

alleyways

At times when we've had too much of something, we yearn for space. We step back, and allow things to absorb. Usually it's because we didn't know how to portion. We were too excited to receive in small servings, that we flood ourselves with bigger heaps than needed. And because of this, we get bloated, and decide to sit it out for a while until it's we feel it has evenly distributed. And when we are rejuvenated, sometimes we crave more, and sometimes we don't.
Although, in the fortunate times where we do crave more --we learn the gift of appreciation. And when we do return with our empty bowls, we are exposed to an even greater goodness much more refreshing than the previous.

"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning!"
Psalm 30:5

sincerely, Rm , 1:35 AM,
