Life is a test.
Life is a test of trust.
We are put into a world that doesn't belong to us. The world is just a borrowed object handed down from someone who's trusting. And it's purpose? To put us in a situation where every action, every thought, every word is just a test to see if we really are worthy. We're placed in an environment where its just so easy to flirt with these worldly, short-term pleasures. Where money plays as the primary test.
It's so difficult not to get so attached to this life. To this world. Then again, it's made easy sometimes. Ever wonder why we have those super sucky days? Where the puzzles just don't match no matter how hard we try to force it in? To put it in a simple way, those days are there to remind us that life on Earth isn't all so great. It gives us that realization that we're made for something so much more. Something much more beautiful. More profound. More harmonious and poetic. I can't emphasize that enough.
All we can do now is to view the world in God's perspective. Just to really settle for the simple joys in life before we get too far into ourselves and get too attached. Because if we all live in simplicity, then daaamn, we've easily passed the test.
