My eyes shut. My heart open.
It didn't matter anymore how exhausted I was, who won the dance competition, or how disgusting I looked because my mind was at rest from all that was unnecessary. My heart opened. I answered and reached out. And suddenly I was flushed with an abundance of this overwhelming grace. Now I'm free.
It was relieving to stand amongst a sea of believers; all present for one purpose. It was comforting to feel the love that each and every person had for Him. It was as though my heart was instantly warmth with the radiating hope coming from all surrounding directions. Hope.
I am certain that He smiled that night. Yes. We made God smile.
